With a background in both craftsmanship and design, I combine hands-on prototyping with conceptual research to develop innovative, sustainable solutions. This hands-on and research-driven approach has shaped projects like «draht» – a Swiss-made product that transitioned from a prototype to a fully developed, available product. In contrast, my Bachelor thesis «Final_Backup» explores the current challenges of digital legacies. Through the lens of speculative design, it raises critical questions about how we will engage with our digital afterlife in the future.
For me, design is a continuous dialogue between the present and the future, where materials, systems, and narratives intersect to shape how we create, question, and reimagine our world. At the core of my work is the development of sustainable product cycles that not only minimize environmental impactbut also drive meaningful societal change – using design as a catalyst for transformation.
